A named shortlist, not a criteria sheet
I run Ambassador Directory. I wanted a page that names five live programs, not another essay about how to judge them.
I am a Cursor ambassador and a Raycast ambassador. The rule here is give and take: you contribute content, events, or feedback, and you get credits, access, or event support. If the deal is a tracking link, it does not belong on this list.
These five are live listings on this site as of August 2026. Apply on each company's official page. This directory is a map, not an application form.

1. Cursor Ambassadors
Who it is for: builders who already use an AI code editor and can write or talk about that work without turning it into a coupon post.
What you contribute: stay an active Cursor user, make content about AI coding, and send community feedback the team can use.
What you get (from the listing): credits, co-marketing, access, and networking. Open the listing for the current brief, then apply from Cursor's official link. Not through this directory.
2. Raycast Ambassadors
Who it is for: people who already use Raycast and like gathering other people. Events sit at the center. Content helps.
What you contribute: host meetups or hackathons, help in the community Slack, and make educational content about productivity and developer tools.
What you get (from the listing): credits, co-marketing, access, and networking. Start on the listing, then apply on Raycast's official page.
3. Cloudflare Ambassadors
Who it is for: campus, local, or online organizers who can bring Cloudflare into a community through events, workshops, or technical content. Non-technical Cloudflare enthusiasts can apply. This is not a paid role.
What you contribute: events, campus or local organizing, and technical content. The 2026-27 cohort is one year. You can reapply for a second year. Applications close 6 September 2026. Selected people are notified on 5 October.
What you get (from Cloudflare's community page and this listing): meetup and workshop support, credits, marketing assets, technical resources, access to the team at events, recognition, and exclusive swag.

4. Claude Community Ambassadors
Who it is for: people who can host a city community. This is distinct from the listed Claude Campus Program. A developer title is not required. The program is global, and more than one ambassador per city is welcome.
What you contribute: host city meetups, workshops, or hackathons. You need a community track record plus meaningful Claude Code or Cowork experience.
What you get (from Anthropic's official page and this listing): event funding, monthly API credits, swag, pre-release access and Builders Council sessions, and a private Slack. It is not a paid role.

5. GitHub Stars
Who it is for: builders with a public trail of open source work and community leadership. This is not a campus-only track.
What you contribute: significant OSS contributions, community leadership, and work other developers can verify. Entry is by application or nomination.
What you get (from the listing): co-marketing, access, networking, and free GitHub Team or Enterprise access. If you want current detail, stay on the listing. Then apply on GitHub's official page.

The July guide on this site is the criteria piece. It explains how we define a strong developer ambassador program. It does not name a 2026 shortlist. This page is that shortlist.
