How to join the Cursor Ambassador Program in 2026
How to apply to the Cursor Ambassador Program in 2026. What they ask, what you get, and the official application page.
Apply on Cursor's site
The Cursor Ambassador Program is open. Space is limited. Apply on Cursor's official page.
I run Ambassador Directory. I am a Cursor ambassador and a Raycast ambassador. The rule here is give and take: you contribute in the community, and you get credits, access, and support for the work. If the deal is a tracking link, it is the wrong program.
This page is a how-to. Apply on cursor.com/ambassadors, not through this directory.
What they ask
You must be 18 or older. Complete the application form, including reviewing the Code of Conduct.
The work is community work: forum moderation, hosting meetups and hackathons, helping new users get started, sharing what you learn, and sending product feedback. They want people who keep the community vibrant, welcoming, and collaborative.
You choose the length. After a year you can renew. Cursor's official page says they prefer you not join other advocacy programs while you are in this one.
What you get
The exchange is support for the work, not a commission.
- Early access to new Cursor features (nightly builds)
- Free Cursor credits for personal usage
- Forum moderation powers and a program badge
- Funding to cover community meetup costs
- Stickers to share at meetups
- A Slack group with other ambassadors and the Cursor team
- Merch and other program goodies
Not Campus Leads
Cursor also runs Campus Leads. That is a separate student program. Students only. About 5 hours a week. Applications reopen in January.
Do not mix the two. If you want the general ambassador program, this is the form. If you are a university student looking for the campus track, wait for Campus Leads.
How to apply
Read the listing on this site so you know the ask and the perks. Then apply on Cursor's official page.

They review applications once a week and try to reply within 2-3 weeks. If you are accepted, you get an email from the Cursor team, a chat, a Slack group, and help getting started.
Do not send an application through Ambassador Directory. We list programs. We do not take applications for them.
