The n8n Ambassador Program is a contribution-first track for people who host meetups, connect builders, and champion automation locally. Give and take. Apply on n8n's official pages.
I run Ambassador Directory. I am a Cursor ambassador and a Raycast ambassador. I am not an n8n Ambassador. The rule here is give and take: you host welcoming meetups and workshops, and n8n funds events and sends swag. If the deal is a tracking link, it is the wrong program.
This page is a how-to. Apply on n8n.io/ambassadors, not through this directory.
What they ask
Official framing: passionate community members who host, connect, and champion automation. Host welcoming meetups and workshops, at least three a year. Bring builders together. Represent n8n at tech events in your region.
Who they want, from the official become-an-ambassador page: love n8n and have used it for 12 months or more; lead locally; some event experience, or keen to learn; host at least three activities a year; stay engaged on Discord and send a monthly update; commit for 12 months.
They also list those asks as guideposts, not hard rules: at least three events a year (roughly one every four months), stay active in the private ambassador Discord, share a short recap after each event, a monthly check-in, and aim to stay involved for at least 12 months. The community portal says no pro event-organizer experience is needed.
The listing on this site asks for an active n8n user, content creation and tutorial development, and community engagement plus meetup hosting.
I will not invent a follower count, city quota, or acceptance rate.
What you get
The exchange is support for the work, not a commission.
Official become-an-ambassador copy names dedicated onboarding, free swag plus budget (they fund events and send goodies), an ambassador Discord, playbooks and templates, self-service forms for swag, budget, and feedback, plus global recognition (featured on the site and invited to exclusive events). After you join, they mention Discord, a welcome kit, and your first meetup.
The listing on this site tags Credits, Access, and Co-marketing. Official become-an-ambassador copy does not publish a cloud-credit amount or a budget figure. I will not invent either.

Not the Affiliate Program
n8n also runs a Cloud affiliate program at n8n.io/affiliates. That is a commission referral. It pays for Cloud referrals you send. Their contact page lists Affiliates and Ambassadors as separate tracks. Expert Partners is another lane: help customers build with n8n as an official partner.

Read the listing on this site so you know the ask and the perks. Then apply on n8n's official site. Do not send an application through Ambassador Directory. We list programs. We do not take applications for them.

Official apply sequence: apply (you and your city), a short intro video, a quick chat to align expectations and sketch your first event, then onboard and launch (Discord, welcome kit, first meetup).
