The 2026 AWS Community Builders application window is closed. It closed around January 2026. The current CTA is the waitlist. Join it so you get the form when the next cycle opens.
I run Ambassador Directory. I am a Cursor ambassador and a Raycast ambassador. I am not an AWS Community Builder. The rule here is give and take: you share AWS knowledge in public, and you get technical resources, education, and a community. If the deal is a tracking link, it is the wrong program.
This page is a how-to. Waitlist and apply on AWS's sites, not through this directory.
What they ask
Official framing: technical enthusiasts and emerging thought leaders who share knowledge and connect with the technical community. You apply to build relationships with AWS product teams, AWS Heroes, and the AWS community.
The listing on this site asks for active AWS content creation, community engagement and knowledge sharing, technical knowledge of AWS services, and an application review.
Official copy says all AWS builders are welcome and encouraged to apply. It also says the program accepts a limited number of members per year. I will not invent a follower count, content quota, or acceptance rate.
What you get
The exchange is support for the work, not a commission.
The listing on this site tags Mentorship, Co-marketing, Access, and Networking. Official copy names technical resources, education, and networking. I will not invent credits, swag, or a dollar amount.

Not Heroes, not Cloud Club Captains
AWS has more than one listing on this site. Do not mix them.
AWS Heroes is an invite-only recognition program for established experts. The listing says you must already be a Community Builder graduate.
AWS Cloud Club Captains is the student track. Enrolled students who start and run a local Cloud Club.
This page is Community Builders only.
How to prepare for the next window
The next cycle typically opens in early January and stays open about two weeks. Results have historically landed around early March.
Do not wait for the form to start the work. Publish AWS content. Help people in public. Learn the services you write about. That is the ask on the listing.
