DigitalOcean Navigators is a contribution-first ambassador program. Content, code, and community. Give and take. Apply on DigitalOcean's official page.
I run Ambassador Directory. I am a Cursor ambassador and a Raycast ambassador. I am not a DigitalOcean Navigator. The rule here is give and take: you teach and contribute around DigitalOcean products, and you get access, promotion, and support for the work. If the deal is a tracking link, it is the wrong program.

What they ask
Official framing: you are already in the developer ecosystem and you help other people learn and build. Passion for teaching. Hands-on expertise with most DigitalOcean products. Consistent contributions through the year. An inclusion mindset.
You also need extensive experience in at least one of these: writing technical tutorials, presenting at events, recording video courses, organizing community events, or creating, maintaining, or contributing to open source.
The listing on this site asks for an active DigitalOcean user, content creation (tutorials, videos, open source), and community engagement.
I will not invent a follower count, content quota, or acceptance rate.
What you get

How the application process works
Official sequence: apply, connect, create, promote, repeat.
Apply with your motivation, samples of your contributions (code, content, or community), and your plans for the year ahead.
If you are accepted, DigitalOcean adds you to an internal portal, includes you in a monthly newsletter, and invites you to a quarterly Navigator check-in.
